Third-Generation Attorney

John G. McNally, P.C.

Downriver and Trenton's Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer

Our founding attorney, John G. McNally, was born and raised in Trenton, and practically born into the legal profession. He is a third-generation lawyer and one of seven family members who became attorneys or judges, including his father, the late Judge Gerald A. McNally, the first Judge of the 33rd District Court who proudly served for 25 years.

After earning his law degree from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University Law School) in 1992, John went into practice with his brother, Michael K. McNally, sharpening his litigation and personal injury skills. After Michael was elected to the bench in 1994, Mr. McNally continued to practice on his own. Recognizing that there were no sizeable law firms in the Downriver area, John set out to create one. Building on the solid foundation of the family name, he achieved his own measure of success and respect and gradually realized the vision of a thriving firm.

If you have been injured or a loved one has been killed in an accident that was caused due to the negligence of another person, you likely have grounds to seek compensation from the responsible parties. The process involved with obtaining fair compensation can be extremely complex, and the insurance company is motivated to settle your case for as little as possible.

Having an experienced Trenton personal injury and wrongful death attorney representing you in these cases can help to ensure that your interests are protected and that the negligent parties are held accountable. At McNally Law, we represent clients throughout the Downriver area in a variety of serious personal injury claims.

Our Focus

Over time, however, the rigors of running a large firm drew John away from the close interaction with his clients that he so enjoyed and his clients deserved. After a decade of operating a large firm, he shifted back to solo practice to provide the one-on-one attention and responsiveness to which he and his clients were accustomed. He continued to be directly accountable to his clients in all areas of litigation with his uncompromising integrity and work ethic.

Having always focused on personal injury since 1992, John continues to represent clients in the areas of estate planning, business and insurance litigation, and criminal defense, in Wayne and Monroe counties.

With attorney McNally, our clients have direct access to an astute adviser, a skilled negotiator and an experienced litigator who works hard to obtain a positive result in every case. He cares about his clients and the outcome of their legal issues, investing the time and resources required to protect their interests and help them reach their goals.
